Wildlife parks

Covering an area of nearly 20 hectares, the zoo at Casteil is home to different mountain species, including prairie dogs, lions, wolves, brown bears and turtles.

The 2.5km path is especially suitable for young children. Those who are a bit fitter will love the intimate tour of the mountain animal world offered by the large 3.5km circuit.

At the Parc animalier des Angles you can observe wild animals from the French mountains in their natural environment. There are two paths to choose from: one of 3500m and another of 1500m, amongst izards, mountain sheep, marmots, wolves and brown bears. A botanical trail and animal tracks trail are just waiting for you to explore the fauna and flora of the Catalan Pyrenees.
